WSL Points System

The WSL points system fairly distributes points throughout the season. WSL tournaments will now get points based on how many teams enter individual tournaments. We believe that the points should be adjusted by how many wins you accumulate and by how many teams actually participate in a bracket.

The assumption on our scoring system is that winning a 24 team tournament is two times as difficult as winning an 8 team tournament. And winning a 64 team tournament is three times as difficult as winning an 8 team tournament.

Under the points system if your team goes 0-2 you get 60 WSL points, 120 points qualifies for Championship Play.

In Qualifiers, the Top 6 Teams are awarded unpaid berths to all Championship Play in their respected division of play.

All of the WSL National Tournaments are seeded based on the WSL Points System.
